In Emergent, Vehicles serve as the backbone of Fleet Management, providing Portal users with a clear, real-time view of the fleet and its status. For the Tactical Board, vehicles are linked to unit response records from CAD/PulsePoint, enabling Incident Commanders to see assigned resources, manually allocate additional units, and efficiently assign tasks to vehicle crews during an incident. Additionally, Checklists can be assigned to specific vehicles.
NOTE: When adding/modifying the Vehicle's Resource configuration, be sure to add any new ranks in Module>Fire first.
Crew/Resources
Crew/Resource information is optional.
The Crew Info section can be used to report demographics to your state repository.
The Resources section provided will provide a default number of avatars that show on the Tactical Board as well as the names/order of the Positions if CAD/PulsePoint do not provide it, or if there is not a staffing integration. The Resources information allows the Incident Commander to see the staffing configuration of each unit responding to the incident, and seamlessly assign out tasks.
