Add/Edit Stations

Station Management

In Emergent, Stations are used to associate Vehicles with either their Assigned Station (home station) or Current Station (temporary assignment).  Within the Checklist module, a checklist can be assigned to Stations as well.

General

The General tab contains the required and optional information to be gathered when creating a station.  There are only 5 required fields:

1. Station Name - The primary display name for the station.
2. Number - The unique identifier of the station.  This value must match the Station Number as it is presented in CAD and RMS.
3. Type - Select from the dropdown list - the values provided align with the NEMSIS/NERIS options
4. Address - The street address where the station is located.
5. Status - True if the Station is in an Active Status.  False if the station is inactive.  Inactive stations will not display for selection

NOTE:  The GPS field is an optional field.  When providing coordinates, they must be in the degree.decimal format.

Vehicles

The vehicles tab contains the vehicles associated with the selected station as the Assigned Location.  Clicking on a vehicle takes the user to the Admin>Vehicles page to view/edit that vehicle.  

NOTE:  Stations must be created before vehicles.
