Shifts

In Emergent, Shifts play a crucial role in both the Tactical Board and Checklists. On the Tactical Board, shifts link CAD/PulsePoint data to Staffing information, giving the Incident Commander visibility into named personnel assigned to each vehicle (when Staffing data is integrated). Additionally, Checklists can be assigned to specific shifts for streamlined task completion.

When adding or editing shifts, all 3 fields are required.

1. Shift Name - how the shift is recorded in CAD and how it is displayed in the Checklist
2. Shift Description
3. Status - true = active, false = inactive
