Scheduling Checklist
Checklists can be scheduled to recur automatically based on the desired schedule.
Start Date: Date the task should begin showing up in the iPad app.
Repeat Every: This setting determines the frequency of the task's recurrence. You can choose from the following options:
- Day: The task repeats daily
- Week: The task repeats weekly
- Month: The task repeats monthly
- Year: The task repeats yearly
Repeat On (optional): This option allows you to specify the exact days on which a task should be completed, based on the frequency selected in the "Repeat Every" field. (optional)
Example:
Task frequency is set to weekly.
"Repeat On" is configured for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Checklist will be scheduled to appear on both days each week.
Lead Time (optional): Lead time determines how many days (or weeks, months, etc.) prior to the due date the task becomes available for completion.
Example:
Task is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday.
Lead time is set to 1 day.
In this case, the checklist will be available to complete starting Monday (one day before Tuesday) and can be completed until the due date or until the task is marked as complete.
Grace Period: The grace period allows additional time after the task's due date before it is considered overdue. The available options are:
No Grace Period (default)
1 Day: The task must be completed by the day after its due date.
2 Days: The task must be completed within two days of its due date.
If a checklist is in the Grace period window, the checklist status will display as Missed on the Checklist dashboard.
