Managing Inspection Dropdowns
In Emergent, Administrators have the ability to configure and manage the drop-downs used when scheduling Inspections that will drive the type of inspection, and scheduling aspects.
Inspection Types
Inspection Types populates the pick-list of the types of inspections to be performed. When scheduling an inspection, the scheduler will select the type of inspection from this list.
Required fields:
- Name - a label for the type of of inspection
- Status - true = active, false = inactive
Duration
Duration populates the pick-list of durations, in either hours or minutes allowing the scheduler to select an anticipated amount of time the inspection will take. This allows the scheduler to manage the workload of inspectors, as well as lets inspectors anticipate how long they may be at a given location.
Required fields:
- Name - the label for the duration
- Duration - a numeric value
- Duration Units - either Hours or Minutes
- Status - true = active, false = inactive
Frequency
Frequency populates the pick-list specifying how often the inspection needs to be performed.
Required fields:
- Name - the label for the frequency
- Frequency -numeric value
- Frequency Units - either Days, Weeks, Months or Years
- Status - true = active, false = inactive
NOTE: Currently Frequency is information only. It does not result in auto-rescheduling of inspections at this time.
Reinspection Period
Reinspection Period populates the pick-list completed by Inspectors when they report findings/violations during the inspection, allowing them to set expectation with the Occupant as to when the issue must be resolved for re-inspection.
Required Fields:
- Name - the label for the time period
- Period - numeric value
- Period Units - either Days, Weeks, Months or Years
- Default - only ONE Reinspection Period can be set to the default
- Status - true = active, false = inactive
