Schedule Inspections


From Inspections, users can schedule an inspection, however the Occupancy must already be created.   

To Schedule an Inspection:

  1. Select the Occupancy (location) to be inspected.
  2. Verify/change the Inspection Type as necessary.
  3. Assign an Inspector to complete the inspection.  If the inspector is not found in the dropdown list, they likely need to have the Inspector flag togged on their user record.
  4. Set a Due Date by which the inspection needs to be completed.

The Optional fields when scheduling an inspection are:

  • Duration - The duration provides the scheduler a baseline when creating the schedule and allows the inspector to anticipate how much time the inspection will take when planning their day.
  • Primary Contact for Inspection - The contact the Inspector should anticipate working with for the inspection.  A contact can be added to the Occupancy record if needed.  
  • Scheduled Date - If the inspections are being scheduled with the Occupant for a specific date/time, the scheduler can capture that appointment time here.  

NOTE:  If all required fields are not already populated on the occupancy, the user may be prompted to go to the General tab of the Occupancy and complete the required data BEFORE an inspection can be scheduled.
