Manually Adding Units to a Board

While you are in the Tactical Board you can manually add a unit to your list of available apparatus.  This feature will most likely be used if a unit that was not in the dispatch feed arrives on scene, or a mutual aid unit that is not currently set up in your Portal.


Note: Volunteer departments can use this to create their crews as their personnel arrive onsite and you assign them to a unit.


Steps

Click on the Add Unit icon
 

Enter the Call Sign


Add Crew Members

  • If you are adding crew from your agency, you can click on the magnifying glass to see your list of personnel and select names
  • If the Personnel are from outside of your organization, click the Add button as many times are you need spots for


For the manually added Crew, you can leave the placeholder text, or update     


You can also re-order your crew by using the drag/drop feature


When your crew is all set, click the Save button and you will be returned to the Tactical Board
