Managing the Incident Navigation
Once the user selects Begin Incident, they are taken to the Tactical Board Map displaying the location of the incident.
Map
The map will display the location of the selected incident is interactive and allows the user to pan and zoom like they would in any Apple map.
![]() | The pointer icon on the map will return the map to the selected location of the call if they have panned away. |
![]() | The right angle arrow icon will take the user to Apple Maps (or whatever their default mapping app is set to) and navigate them from their current location to the incident location. Navigation is dependent on the iPad having an air card to attain current location. |

![]() | Users can select and enable/disable layers for viewing on the map |
Tactical Board
The Tactical Board view is the primary view for managing the incident.
Timeline
The Timeline tab retains an active, timeline of activity taken on the incident.
Narrative
The Narrative tab provides a quick interface for documenting the incident narrative.
Photos
The Photos tab allows the user to take photos of the incident as associate them with the incident as well as stores any whiteboards that have been created during the incident.
