Assigning and Adding Units

On the Tactical Board, the left panel by default shows the units that are assigned to the incident and their current status.  The right side of the board is the Command Structure that units can be assigned to.

The Incident Commander can assign units to the various assignments in the Command Structure by tapping and holding the unit to select it and then dragging the unit to their assignment.

The positions on the unit can be edited by tapping on the unit, and then either grabbing the hamburger icon on the right side to drag and drop their order, or by clicking on a position and editing the Name.  Additionally the Units call sign can also be edited if needed.

Adding or Creating Units

Tactical Board allows the Incident Commander to add resources manually.   They can either pick a known resource from the dropdown list or if the resource is not in the list, they can add it manually.  The manual add is typically used in mutual aid scenarios.

Select an Existing Resource

To select an existing resource, click the + icon at the bottom of the resource panel, and then select the desired resource from the list.

Manually adding a Resource

If the needed unit is not found in the dropdown list, then it can be manually added by clicking on the paper and pencil icon and typing in the name of the unit.  The positions can be added, with the default "crew name" placeholders, or names can be typed in.  The positions can be rearranged as needed.
