Manage Position Rank
In Emergent, Position Ranks help the Incident Commander manage incidents by clarifying the roles of each unit's members. This structure enables tasks to be assigned more effectively based on the specific skills associated with each position. If Staffing integration has been implemented, the Incident Commander will see the crew member names in each position, otherwise it will display as "Crew Member".
There are only 2 required fields when defining Position Rank:
- Name - the name of the rank
- Status - true = active, false = inactive
If integration with a Staffing solution has been implemented the Description field will be populated with data from the Staffing solution.
