Whiteboarding

From the Tactical Board, the Incident Commander can draw on a whiteboard to do free-form notes and drawings as needed for managing the incident.  Once saved, those whiteboard images are accessed in the photos.

Clicking on the Add Whiteboard button at the top of the Tactical Board brings up a clean whiteboard.  The whiteboard utilizes the Apple drawing tools allowing the user to change tools and colors.

Whiteboarding from the Map

The Incident Commander also has the option of drawing on an image of the map.  From the blank whiteboard, click on the map icon at the top left corner.  Then zoom, pan the map as needed.  Click the Set as Background button in the top right corner.

Whiteboarding on a Map can also be accessed from the Map tab of the Tactical Board.

Saved whiteboards can be accessed, and edited further from the photos tab.

To edit a saved whiteboard image, click on the picture (clicking the pencil and paper allows you to edit the name).  When the whiteboard image opens, click Edit in the top right corner.
