Completing a Checklist in the App

The user interface to complete a checklist within the App is very consistent across checklists.

Left Side Progress

The left panel of the checklist provides a progress tracker that shows which questions have been completed and which are outstanding, as well as calculates the completeness of each checklist section.  Users can tap on a question on the left side, and the right side question list will jump to that question.

Right Side Questions

The right side of the checklist displays the questions to be answered as part of the checklist.  The checklist can be configured with several different types of questions.

The camera icon indicates the question has been configured to allow the user to take a picture to support the answer to the question.  Pictures are always optional by the system, but may be required as part of agency procedures.
The comment icon allows the user to optionally add comments to a question.  Some questions may be configured to require a commend if Fail is selected.

Signature

Checklists can be configured to require a signature by the person completing the checklist.

To sign a checklist, type in your name, and then use your finger or stylus to create a signature.  The signature can be saved by selecting the Set as Default Signature checkbox.  Then on future signings, select the USE DEFAULT SIGNATURE button to select that signature.

End Checklist

Once all questions are answered and the signature has been completed (if required) the END CHECKLIST button will enable.  Select the button and then confirm completion.  The checklist will be saved and uploaded back to the portal.  At this point the checklist can no longer be edited.
