Emergent's Incident Management Tools Overview

Fire Incident Management Products

Emergent has 2 key products in it's Fire Incident Management Toolset.  These tools can work in conjunction with each other or independently.  

The Tactical Board is an iPad app that can serve as an operational command board when managing an Incident.  This can be used independently or in conjunction with the NERIS Fire Reports.

The NERIS Fire Report, also known as the Incident Report can be recorded on the iPad, or the Desktop.  This report captures the incident details and unit narratives for the records management system and for the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS).  

Operationally, the Tactical board is intended to be used during an active incident.  The NERIS Report is intended to be recorded after the incident is complete.  One user can flip between the Tactical Board and the NERIS Report, however if a different user will be completing the NERIS report, they must wait until the Tactical Board is complete so they can assume command of the incident and begin the report on the iPad.
